The highlight this week so far was seeing a female Kingfisher on a Mull Wildlife Tour! We watched it fishing a couple of times at the head of Loch Cuin before it disappeared out of view.
Other sightings on the day included around 400 Fieldfares and Redwings (80% former) between Mishnish Lochs and Dervaig; five Greenshank, three Redshank, five Common Snipe and 10 Ringed Plover at head of Loch Cuin, where a Sparrowhawk appeared briefly; three Lapwings at Lagganulva; two drake and two female Goosander on Loch na Keal, where four Bar-tailed Godwits at the high tide roost.
