Otter / Shag predation!

Wow...a truly amazing encounter today, watching an Otter carrying a Shag (first winter) as prey along the shoreline before taking it into cover. A very close by Great-northern Diver was constantly alarming and with no sign of overhead eagles, this was possibly in concern to the predation that it had just witnessed?
