Twite...

It was nice to discover a pair of Twite on the north of #Mull recently. They are a seed eating species which prefer sorrels, dandelions, grass seeds, thistles and hardheads. They nest in bracken, heather and other tall vegetation. Around 13,000 pairs breed in Scotland, which is about 94% of the UK population.
