Day 1 - March 15th On day one, the group met up at 2 o'clock down at the Grant Arms hotel’s reception, where we got to know each other and set up a plan for the week. Islay Spring Wildlife Expedition: 9th-13th March 2026:
9th - first afternoon We all met at the Kennacraig ferry terminal and started with the ferry trip to Port Askaig. The Solway Winter Wildlife Experience - Mon 8th - Fri 12th December 2025
TOUR REPORT Day One We all met outside the hotel at 12noon and headed straight for the English side of the Solway. It was a high spring tide, so the waders were pushed in close to the shore and getting ready to roost. Mull Autumn Package: 2nd-6th November 2025
Day 1 We all met up at our accommodation house before heading out for the afternoon, a windy and rainy afternoon was on the cards and high tide, so we headed to moorland areas of NW Mull, on the way we saw Snipe and Little Grebes.
