THE ISLE OF MULL WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE with Megan McCubbin, Indy Kiemel Greene and Dave Sexton August 24th – 28th 2026 The group met in Tobermory at 2pm – one of the group had come straight from climbing Ben More! 24th - Day 1 We all met at the Mallaig ferry terminal and started with the ferry trip to Lochboisdale. We were greeted by lots of Common Dolphins before even leaving the harbour: Around the small isles we saw more Dolphins, Harbour Porpoise and 2 Minke Whales as well as Auks, Gannets, Kittiwakes and Manx Shearwaters. It ended up being a 'raptor fest' with views of golden and white-tailed eagles over the mountainous scenery. Day 1 - March 15th On day one, the group met up at 2 o'clock down at the Grant Arms hotel’s reception, where we got to know each other and set up a plan for the week. Shortly afterwards, we set off for the area around Nethy Bridge in the hopes of spotting Dipper, Crested Tit and Red Squirrel. 23rd evening - day 1 We all met up at our accommodation at Oakfield House before heading out for the afternoon. A wet and windy afternoon to start the trip.
