We have had some sensational eagle encounters on our tours this week!
At this time of the year eagles are up on the wing for longer periods because they intend to be seen! They are defending their territories more intensely along with performing a number of courtship rituals in preparation for the commencing breeding season.
Young nomadic birds are departing their parents territories and also searching for vacant home-ranges as they continue to serve their apprenticeship, before reaching maturity.
On Thursdays tour we discovered a pair of White-tailed Eagles which appeared to be on eggs and we observed a changeover between the birds.
