Mountain Ecology...

The view from the summit of Beinnn Talaidh today. The islands third highest ascent, at 2499 feet.

Great to be on the higher ground observing the mountain ecology. Meadow Pipits back on territory and performing their song-flight, parachuting down on stiff wings. Both species of eagle were patrolling the area and we finished with the lovely sight of numerous Orange Underwing moths fluttering in groups over birch trees!

We are looking forward to the Mull Half Day Tour tomorrow, with Hebridean sunshine forecast!
