How good was the #Mull 'owl fest' on BBC Springwatch last night!? Some stunning footage by Tom Campbell of Short-eared, Long-eared and Barn Owl from the island this week! Here is a recent image of a Long-eared Owl hunting in the early evening! it was very wet the previous night which seemed to encourage this bird to venture out earlier in the evening, providing some privileged views!
