It was incredibly exciting to hear of the first records of Chequered Skipper on Mull this Spring! Well done to Chris Austick for the wonderful discovery.
They are one of the UKs rarest butterflies with only about ten core areas in Western Scotland (along with a recent reintroduction in eastern England). Read more about this species on the Butterfly Conservation website here...
