The Mull Summer Wildlife Expedition with Iolo Williams - Group 1
Team: Iolo Williams, Megan Hamill, Klay Blake, Theo de Clermont and Ewan Miles Day 1 We all met in Tobermory after lunch and headed straight out to some coastal habitats in the west of the island. It ended up being a 'raptor fest' with views of golden and white-tailed eagles over the mountainous scenery. Great to see fledged juvenile wt eagles flying stronger by the day as they continue to stay in their natal areas before they will slowly disperese as young nomads. Red-breast

The Isle of Mull Summer Expedition with Iolo Williams - June 2026
Day 1 – A Damp Start Our wildlife package began after lunch, meeting everyone in Tobermory before setting off to explore some of the coastal habitats in the central part of the island. Mull 'Spring Skydancer' tour 23rd March - 27th March 2026
23rd evening - day 1 We all met up at our accommodation at Oakfield House before heading out for the afternoon. A wet and windy afternoon to start the trip. Red and Fallow deer were ticked off next from the van. Sadly, the weather really turned when we arrived at the sea loch, but we saw

Coming into Calgary bay in a flooded field there were lots of Oystercatchers and Common Gulls and a sizable Greylag Goose flock, hidden amongst them were 10 Greenland White-fronted Geese, a species becoming a very v rare sight on Mull and with 4 of
