Day 1 - March 15th On day one, the group met up at 2 o'clock down at the Grant Arms hotel’s reception, where we got to know each other and set up a plan for the week. 23rd evening - day 1 We all met up at our accommodation at Oakfield House before heading out for the afternoon. A wet and windy afternoon to start the trip. On our way to our first stop we had Goosander and Red-breasted Merganser, Bar-tailed Godwit and other common waders plus a few Harbour Seals and 2 showy Red-throated Divers from the roadside. 9th - first afternoon We all met at the Kennacraig ferry terminal and started with the ferry trip to Port Askaig.
