Great-northern Divers are in pristine breeding condition around the island at the moment, with numbers starting to drop as they make their way north to Greenland / Iceland. We had wonderful views of this bird feeding on a Green-shore Crab in shallow waters. It predated on four crabs in the space of fifteen minutes, a joy to watch.
