A beautiful Common Sandpiper surrounded by some lovely coastal lichen communities and English Stonecrop growing from the crevices.
The high pitched call of these migrant waders can be sound all around the island, close to freshwater and saltwater areas and they will be starting their journey south back to North Africa in August.
