The Isle of #Mull Wildlife Expedition with Iolo Williams
Great Black-backed Gulls are large avian predators but they get dwarfed by a White-tailed Eagle! This series of images shows a juvenile WT Eagle attempting to predate on an adult GBB Gull. The more experienced gull continuously submerged itself to avoid predation and the young eagle eventually gave up and headed for the coast!
It was an amazing wildlife spectacle!
