Legless Lizard (Slow Worm)

Our young intern, Joe Fryer, is helping guide on our tours during September and he managed to get these lovely photos of this Slow Worm (Legless Lizard) on a recent #Mull Nature Explorer! These stunning reptiles act as 'bio-control agents' in gardens as they love to eat slugs, snails and other potential 'problem species'. There is no need to buy deadly and toxic slug pellets and other harmful chemicals when you can just support these predator - prey relationships in your garden home.
