THE ISLE OF #MULL WILDLIFE & MEDIA EXPEDITION with GORDON BUCHANAN

After our whalewatch was cut short due to fog (rescheduled for day 5) we headed down to an active Golden Eagle territory and got nice views of one of the adults working the skyline and also an 11/12 week old eaglet stood at the edge of the nest cup, almost ready for his/her maiden flight!

The following day we boarded a Turus Mara 'Bird Bird Trip' to explore and photograph the wildlife and surroundings off the west coast of Mull. The Puffins (and some pufflings) were showing well and other noteworthy species included Arctic Skuas, Twite, 3 Swifts, Storm Petrel and a memorable encounter with Common Dolphins on the journey back to the Ulva ferry, capping off a perfect day.
