THE SOLWAY WINTER WILDLIFE EXPEDITIONS 2019
As we were watching a flock of Twite they were being watched by something else at the same time. A male Sparrowhawk appeared and caught one of the birds right in front of us!
Other sightings on the day included Ruff, Kingfisher, Whimbrel, Peregrine, Barnacle Geese, PF Geese, Whooper Swans, Golden Plovers, Lapwing, Turnstones, Dunlin, RB Mergansers, Goosanders, Redshanks, Curlew, Oystercatchers and much more! WWT Caerlaverock
All money raised will be donated to the BTO Scotland 'SE Owl tracking appeal' and Carlisle Natural History Society.
