WHAT...A...BIRD ...
We have had a huge increase in Sooty Shearwater sightings in #Mull waters this late summer / autumn. Instead of scanning hard to pick out the occasional larger and darker bird in Manx Shearwater flocks we have recorded flocks of over 300 'Sootys' in recent days and weeks!
Our record count from a #Mull Nature Explorer was c160 by guides Theo and Joe from the west of Mull.
