Evening events...
THE ISLE OF MULL WILDLIFE EXPEDITION with IOLO WILLIAMS On our evening tour we saw a large movement of Palmate Newts crossing the road at dusk. This enticed a number of Hedgehogs to take advantage of the amphibian prey. We stopped to check on one Hedgehog which appeared to be stunned/injured on the side of the road. We put it into some rough vegetation as it seemed to be okay. #MullEveningTour #mull #MullNatureExpedition #mullwildlife #IoloWilliams

Bathed in sunshine on Mull...

The Isle of Mull Autumn Wildlife Expedition with Iolo Williams A wonderful five days exploring the wild areas of #Mull with Iolo and guests. On day four we had memorable views of Otters along with 3 Purple Sandpipers, Turnstones and a convocation of Golden Eagles! It was wet early on in day five as we found shelter in a nearby wildlife hide and managed to see a Dipper! The Isle of Mull Autumn Wildlife Experience with Iolo Williams - Day 2 & 3...
It was amazing to watch a party of adult Whooper Swans land in the bay and then see the resident Mute Swans become highly aggressive towards them as they attempted to chase them all off! On the Tuesday afternoon we had great views of an Otter along with an adult White-tailed Eagle perched up on the sheltered side of a spruce plantation, away from the wet and wild weather.
