Within 5 minutes of leaving the house we had nice views of a Merlin perched up before taking flight. Afterwards during a morning walk on the north side of the Island we managed to encounter Chough, Wheatear, WT Eagle and Grey Seal pups.
Into the afternoon and we made use of the hides at Loch Gruniart to watch 1000s of Barnacle Geese, Juv Peregrine, Golden Eagles, Ruff, Pintail, Wigeon, BT Godwit, Grey Plover, Golden Plover, Greenland WF Geese and much more.
